CallingAgency ran 17 commercial cleaning and janitorial campaigns and booked 1,481 qualified appointments. This report shows what our campaigns produced, including appointment volume, timelines, dials, signed contracts and projected pipeline.
Every figure comes from our own campaign data. We do not use industry estimates. Commercial cleaning is our largest industry-specific dataset, which gives these benchmarks more weight than reports based on only a few campaigns.
For cleaning companies looking to generate more commercial cleaning leads, these numbers offer a clearer view of what real campaigns can produce.
These are self-reported results from 17 real cleaning campaigns. Any revenue figures refer to projected pipeline. They do not represent closed deals. All numbers are current as of July 2026.

How Many Appointments Does a Commercial Cleaning Campaign Book?
The median cleaning campaign booked 78 qualified appointments. The average was 87. Results ranged from 23 appointments in a short two-month run to 187 in an eleven-month program. For most cleaning companies, 78 appointments over six months is a realistic target.
Campaign length and list quality have the biggest impact on appointment volume. Longer campaigns built around a focused facility manager list tend to produce the strongest results.
How Many Cleaning Appointments Can You Expect Per Month?
The median cleaning campaign booked about 16 qualified appointments per month. Monthly output ranged from 7 to nearly 20 across the 17 campaigns. Steady monthly flow matters more than a big first month.
Our best cleaning campaigns held pace over time. Simple Cleaning in Colorado booked 187 appointments across 11 months. That is consistent output, month after month.
How Long Before a Cleaning Campaign Delivers?
The median cleaning campaign ran for about six months, with campaign lengths ranging from two to eleven months. Most campaigns began to settle into a steady rhythm after the first quarter.
Commercial cleaning campaigns have an advantage here. Facility managers and property managers are often easier to reach by phone than buyers in complex enterprise sales. That can shorten the ramp, but the campaign still needs time to refine the list, improve the message and build a steady flow of appointments.
How Many Dials Does It Take to Book a Cleaning Appointment?
Across the cleaning campaigns that tracked dials, the median was about 220 dials for each appointment booked. Results varied widely, from just 59 dials at the strongest end to 263 at the other.
List quality explains much of that difference. Azul Pressure Washing booked one appointment every 59 dials with a focused target list. A broad, unsegmented list took four times as many. This is why effective appointment setting starts with the right accounts and contacts. More dials cannot make up for poor data.
Do Cleaning Appointments Turn Into Signed Contracts?
Yes. For a cleaning company, booked appointments matter because they create the chance to win new contracts. Several of our campaigns tracked how many of those meetings turned into signed agreements.
- Simple Cleaning signed 44 contracts.
- CFBS Group signed 39 contracts.
- Office Pride signed 24 contracts.
- Next Level Cleaning signed 22 contracts.
- Central VA Cleaning signed 17 contracts.
The takeaway is simple. A well-qualified cleaning appointment converts. The close rate depends on your pricing and your walkthrough, not on the appointment volume alone.
How Much Pipeline Does Cleaning Lead Generation Produce?
Of the 17 cleaning campaigns, 9 reported a projected pipeline figure. Together they represent nearly $6 million in projected pipeline. That averages about $662,000 per campaign.
We label this carefully. Projected pipeline is the annual value of the contracts in play, not closed revenue. Office Pride alone reached $2.3 million in projected pipeline from 24 signed contracts.
Who Buys Commercial Cleaning and How Do You Reach Them?
Two roles control most commercial cleaning decisions. Facility managers own the buildings and the budgets. Property managers oversee multi-tenant sites and portfolios. Our cleaning campaigns targeted both.
Phone plus email worked best across every cleaning campaign. Some added LinkedIn to reach property management firms. A confirmation call before each walkthrough lifted show rates and protected the schedule.
How to Use These Cleaning Benchmarks?
For a cleaning company setting a target, work in three steps. Start with 78 appointments over six months as a baseline. Expect roughly 16 per month once the campaign ramps. Invest in a tight facility manager list before you add more dials.
Then judge the campaign on contracts, not just meetings. A campaign that books 80 appointments and closes 20 contracts beats one that books 120 and closes 10.
